Yes, there are plenty of animated movies, but Hewy is one of the very few animated movies that isn’t a comedy. It’s a true story about a little girl who has to make her way to a party, but isn’t sure if she can get there without accidentally hitting her head on a table. When her mom makes her the toast at the breakfast, she tells her mom about the story when she’s just a few feet away from the toast.

This movie is also pretty darn funny. Its a story about a little girl that happens to be a great singer who wants to be a dancer. But then the story goes into a whole series of weird coincidences that happen because the singer is blind. She decides to sing a song for her blind friend and ends up having to play a bunch of piano chords to her blind friend. I can do this, so it’s not a big deal, but I can’t play piano.

I feel like this movie has a lot to say, but it still may be difficult to see it onscreen. Its a little too short an animated feature to be taken seriously as a big-budget Hollywood blockbuster. I think the filmmakers just wanted to make some quirky and fun movie for the sake of making the film. For better or for worse, I think its a pretty great movie.

I will just say that the movie has an interesting story. My only complaint is that the pacing is a little choppy at times. Sometimes the action gets a little too quick and it loses the continuity of the plot. On the other hand, I really enjoyed my time with the movie. Its not something I would recommend for the young or the old.
